Echeveria purpusiorum forms tight, compact rosettes with thick triangular leaves in grey-green, each one marked with irregular reddish-brown freckling that makes every plant look slightly different. It stays small and slow-growing, which makes it well suited to a crowded windowsill or a mixed succulent arrangement. In spring it sends up a slim stem tipped with coral-red flowers.
