Black Prince is one of the darkest succulents you can grow — its pointed, fleshy leaves are such a deep burgundy they read almost black in strong light. The rosette stays tight and geometric, and the colour is at its most intense after a period of sun stress. Bright red flowers on tall stems appear in autumn.
