Succulents and Cacti don't require to much water as they store it all in there leaves. To keep your succulent or cacti happy they enjoy being watered every 2-3 weeks or when there soil has dried out :)

This can vary between plants but most succulents and cacti will do just fine on a windowsill or somewhere in your home that gets sunlight, Just make sure its not exposed to to much direct sunlight or this may cause the leaves to burn.
